Taun’s Brew - Wicked Good Youth Elixir
First and foremost, I was delighted to have the chance to try my first organic skin care product, and even more pleased with the fact that it won't be my last. The smell of this serum is extremely pleasant and welcoming. I have fairly dry and sensitive skin but I did use this product sparingly since a small amount gave me good coverage. The first day of use I received compliments that my melanin was glowing! Overall I'm impressed with this product having no allergic reactions so this makes me excited to explore more of Taun's skin care products.

This was never intended to be on this site.
Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that those who know me, and have seen me on my organic journey to relieve my allergy issues, are not understanding how toxic most chemical products are to them,
their families, pets, and the earth.
I’m not wanting to be a product basher or even tell anyone what to do. I just can’t stand by and watch one more person that I know, have horrible health issues because they just don’t want to give up the harmful chemicals.
They just aren’t connecting the dots. They don’t want to hear it.
They can’t believe it could happen to them, or whatever the case may be.
I am putting this out there with compassion, and love.
Many chemicals are xenoestrogens (endocrine disruptors). That means they mimic estrogen, can confuse your body, affect things like adrenals. thyroid, as well as hormones, and reek all sorts of havoc ! Sadly, this includes breast cancer, thyroid cancer, prostate cancer, fibroids and cysts in the uterus and on the ovaries, menorrhagia, weight gain, hormonal disruptions, developmental anomalies, allergies, autoimmune disease, dermatitis and other skin problems, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory distress, migraines, etc., etc., etc.
KEEP IN MIND, THERE ARE OVER 5000 CHEMICALS IN COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS
THAT ARE NEVER TESTED, AND DON’T SHOW UP ON LABELS !!!
DO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE A HUMAN GUINEA PIG ???!!!
TOP ON MY SHIT LIST: Not in any particular order.
1. (Ironically) Sludge, Bio-Solid, Human Sewage - Whatever you want to call it, it’s basically toxic poop.
2. Febreze- Sprays and Plug-ins . Highly toxic to the world (even though they are saying their ingredients are natural).
3. Axe Body Spray or any Axe product.
4. Gain, All, Tide, Wisk, Cheer, Kirkland Ultra Clear, Persil, Fab, ERA, Surf, Downey - Laundry Detergent
and Fabric Softener - (pretty much all of them in a regular grocery store)
5. Bath & Body Works - Everything
6. Yankee Candles & Other Fake Fragrance Candles - All of them. Everything they carry.
7. Hanging Christmas Trees - (or any of them) car air fresheners in general. They smell horrible ! Please remember. not only are they toxic for you but your children and pets as well.
8. Perfume - High End Department Store to Low End Dollar Store , and all brands in between. VERY TOXIC !!!
Just going past Victoria’s Secret is enough to make your hormones crawl ! Remember, hormone disruptors can make you gain weight. You can eat a perfect diet but still gain weight, just from fragrances on and/or around you !!!
9. LUSH - I would never have given them a second look if they didn’t lie so much. They have plenty of undisclosed scent chemicals, etc.
10. Chemical peels - The cancer causing chemical trichloroacetic acid (TCA) was primarily used as a pesticide for decades, as a solvent by the plastics industry, and as an ETCHING AGENT IN METALS !!! Botox can cause muscle and tendon atrophy, and degeneration of collagen. Actually, any chemical skin care products skeeve me !!
11. Hairspray - or any smelly chemical hair care products. I do carry Intelligent Nutrients hairspray that is full of organic ingredients good enough to drink.
12. Cigarette Smoke - Causes so many health issues, besides making everything stink.
13. Diesel Exhaust - Very toxic long term, and causes migraines and memory loss short term.
14. Sunscreen - Unless it’s organic, contains too many cancer causing ingredients.
15. Fluoride - The chemical fluoride which is an aluminum manufacturing by-product, is poisonous to the system. It can cause many side effects such as high blood pressure, acne, neurological problems, skeletal weakness, and tooth decay. The naturally occurring fluoride which can be found in green plants such as alfalfa, and spinach is the fluoride that is good for you.
16. Soy - Anything made with soy . The phytoestrogens in soy cause many health problems. While burning , soy candles release formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, toluene, benzene, and acetone. These are carcinogens that can lead to cancer and other health problems.
17. Pinkwashing - When toxic, chemical companies like Estee Lauder decide to make everything all pink and lovely to make a profit for “Breast Cancer Awareness”. Yes they make a profit off of women (and men) suffering from cancer, and yes , their products that contain toxic chemicals cause cancer in the first place !!!
18. The goofballs who are stealing the photos from this web site ( I guess I should look at it as free advertising), and the people who are stealing my “Taun’s Brew” skin care formulas and making it as their own. Jeeeez !!! Come up with your own. Sadly, I didn’t even want to list the ingredients but was trying to help the people with allergies. I also wanted to show that the whole line is really organic, unlike a lot of companies out there.
Back in the 90’s before I knew about all of the chemicals that can cause cancer, I worked at a make-up counter in a department store. I did work at the most natural, least chemical, European company that I could find. I mention European because in Europe they are more natural, organic , eco-advanced, anti-chemical, and holistic than the U.S. Anyway, a lady came up to my counter and very quietly said, “I have breast cancer, is there anything you can sell me ?” Knowing enough about preservatives and not trusting that everything was pure enough, I said “ absolutely not ! “ I could not, in good conscience, sell her anything. I couldn’t take the chance. That one brief moment in my life hit me so hard, I’ve spent over 30 years researching ingredients, and companies trying to find the best and purist in the world. Hopefully my efforts will make your lives easier and healthier.
This list could go on for days but you get the gist !
Please research your products, you could be harming yourself much more than you think !
